“PAGB AWARDS”
Following on from my sucess at the “RPS”, I again was fortunate to gain my
“CPAGB” from the Photographic Alliance of Great Britian, here I can be seen
receiving my certificate from the “EAF” president.
“EAF EXHIBITION”
I have been fortunate on a number of occasions to represent my then
photographic club at the EAF championships, the EAF has around 120 member
clubs, so to get into the annual exhibition against the potenial number of
photographers is an achievment.
“ROYAL PHOTOGRAPHIC SOCIETY”
A lot of work, over a long period of time, I was proud and privileged to be awarded my
“LRPS” from the Royal Photographic Society, one of my images from my panel was
held back to be used as an example image, this image went on to be used one year
on the “RPS” membership card.
One of a number of certificates gained from
acceptances into international salons around the
world.
The FIAP medals and FIAP "honourable mentions"
awarded such as the special light blue badge for
the best author must be mentioned in the salon
regulations and in the catalogue. The organizer
must award each FIAP medal to one of the main
prizes given by the judges.
I am proud to say that I was the outright
winner of this memorial trophy for the late,
great Richard Walton.
I have been photographing wildlife for a number of years, I am based in Northamptonshire, UK.
From a young age i have always had an interest in wildlife starting out with a keen interest in all things aquatic.
Moving out of London over thirty years ago I extended his thirst for knowledge and began to study wildlife in greater
detail, and from there photography was born.
I have travelled to all parts of the UK, and locations much further afield, including the rain forest in Borneo! I have
worked on a number of different projects globally, for example photographing Orangutans in the rain forest. My
photography concentrates on the natural world and is motivated by a desire to capture its beauty in camera. My
favourite photographs are often those which record a 'decisive moment' and show wild creatures in the context of
their natural habitat, sometimes with an element of minimalist.
Since starting photography, I have built up an amazing portfolio of images covering many subjects, other images
can be seen on both my social networking Facebook and Twitter pages. I have achieved a number of successes in
major "UK" and International wildlife competitions and International salons.
Examples of my work have been published in the National press, Wildlife Photography magazines and in the "RPS"
Journal, one image graced the “RPS” membership card one year. Normally in my kit bag is a Canon 1DX MKII,
normally used in conjunctionwith a Canon 600mm F4 lens, all supported with a Gitzo tripod and a Gitzo fluid gimbal
